Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Lifestyle Educator & Coach

Nature’s innate wisdom has always fascinated me, especially that of being human. During my youth, I discovered that plants had the ability to heal. This was the beginning of my life long fascination and was what saw me through 5 years of intense, comprehensive training in the ancient medical science of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) including Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Nutrition just to start. With 9 years of ongoing research into wellness through nutrition and lifestyle, I continue to study physical, emotional and energetic balancing by seeking harmony with nature, as well as through mentoring and learning from others. Besides a basic understanding of western medicine; meditation, Qi Gong and the breath, the Vedas and Ayurvedic Medicine including other spiritual and esoteric teachings are traditions that I integrate in my work.

To be well is to seek alignment for the whole being in accourdance with laws of nature – body, mind and spirit unite. Acknowledging that each being is unique, a unique approach in finding harmony becomes necessary.

These are consideration for true healing…

Lifestyle and emotional balancing;
nutrition including food cures and supplementation;
herbal medicine;
body awareness – strength, stamina and flexibility
rest, meditation and breath practices;
observing and attuning to daily, monthly and seasonal rhythms in nature;
bodywork including acupuncture, massage, acupressure, cupping, moxabustion, and the likes...

These practices combined provide the right conditions to promote the body’s natural wisdom in healing itself.

As a wellness facilitator, I work WITH you to help you regain control of your wellbeing. Looking deep for the root cause of your disharmony, we address physical obstruction, limitation or disharmony; mind and emotional related stress or depression; as well as spiritual awareness and self understanding.

Ultimately...

You choose how well you want to be.

True wellness requires full presence AND responsibility…It is a way of life.
I choose this for myself and as a Mother I encourage my three children to do the same.

Peace. Twyla
